The Norwegian country has a new talent that is already attracting the attention of Europe's top leagues. Sverre Nypan is just another example of the great job being done in the academies of the Nordic countries.

The 17-year-old, born in Trøndheim, Sør-Trøndelag, Norway, on 19 December 2006, was formed as a footballer at clubs such as Nardo FK and Roseborg Ballklub, the latter being the club with which he made his professional debut in November 2022 in a local championship match, playing his first matches at the age of 15.

If we talk about his qualities as a footballer, Nypan is a player with a bright future ahead of him, characterised by his technical ability, his intelligence on the pitch and his ability to play in various positions in midfield.

The Norwegian midfielder is stands out for his technical and tactical qualities, being an absolutely early talent. On the technical side, we highlight his excellent use of both legs, both passing, driving and shooting. He is a totally ambidextrous player, a very valuable quality in today´s football.

Tactically, we are also talking about a player with great vision and understanding of the game at his young age. He has a special ability to read situations in inside areas and his decision making is quite good.

Physically, however, we find one of his biggest areas of improvement. He is an intense and tough player, both in stealing and in individual dueling. However, he is still a maturing player, and his slim morphotype is a handicap against opponents in competitions as physical as the Norwegian league. Therefore, his physical development will largely determine Nypan's real potential.

Finally, there is another interesting characteristic of the young midfielder on the mental side. Throughout his short career he has been recognised for his maturity and professional approach, something that has already earned him a place in such high level teams in the Norwegian league, as well as in the Norwegian U21 national team.
