The spanish-serbian footballer, son of fellow ex-footballer Sr?an Baj?etic, is emerging as one of most promising new spanish midfielders.
Born in Vigo, Pontevedra, Spain, on 22 October 2004, Stefan Baj?eti? stood out as one of Liverpool's most valued young talents, becoming important and making almost 20 appearances for the first team in the 22/23 season.
However, the hard competition in the Reds' midfield saw his progress stall last season, in which he made just 3 appearances in official matches.
This led to his departure this summer in the form of a loan move to RB Salzburg in the Austrian league, where he appears to be starting to make an impact.
The spanish player, formed in the youth academy of Celta Vigo, has technical and tactical qualities characteristic of the spanish midfielder type.
With ball possession, he is a very correct and organised player, he usually makes good decisions and his associative capacity is very good. Off the ball, on the other hand, he stands out for his great tactical intelligence and reading of the game. In the offensive phase, he positions himself very well to receive in free space, making good use of scanning. Defensively, he is also a great asset when it comes to pressing forward in order to steal the ball in the opposition half.
Finally, on the mental side, we find a player of great maturity and responsibility at his young age. In fact, the decisions he has made in his career are proof of this, moving abroad at the age of 16 and currently looking for an opportunity to develop as a footballer in Austria.
