Gabriel Veron, born on 09/03/2002, is a young Brazilian who plays as Winger for Palmeiras. The young forward was awarded the last Golden Boy of the U17 World Cup and is considered one of the most interesting players on the South American football scene.
The Brazilian broke into Palmeiras' first team in 2019, when he was just 17, and his incidence on the team was incredibly fast scoring two goals in his second professional match. Since then, he has become the youngest man to score for Palmeiras in the Copa Libertadores and has contributed by scoring a large amount of goals and providing assists.
One of his best qualities is the ability to adapt to any offensive position. Although he prefers and feels more at ease starting from the right wing, he can also play in the left wing or as a second striker. Equipped with a remarkable pace of play combined with a high intensity, he is able to play at speed often managing to make important changes of direction that make him an unpredictable element.
His technical skills are also exceptional, since he has an excellent first touch and ball control, which make him a real tightrope walker, thanks also to an excellent dribbling and ability to jump the opponent. All these qualities make him a player who loves 1vs1, giving breadth to the game. After overcoming the opponent, thanks to his unpredictability it becomes difficult to block him in the open field.
From a physical point of view he stands out in terms of speed, explosiveness and agility, but still lacks structure and strength, which could make him much more decisive especially in the non-possession phase. To shine at the highest level of international football, he should work on taking decisions, especially when risking play in areas of the pitch that are dangerous for the team.
Temperamentally, he stands out as a determined element capable of carrying the team on his shoulders in times of difficulty, always managing to be a tow for his teammates.
