Chemsdine Talbi has become one of the revelations in Europe for his great performance in both the Jupiter Pro league and the Champions League.
Born in Sambreville, Belgium, on 9 May 2005, Talbi is a footballer of Moroccan descent who, after being formed at Royale Union Tubize-Braine, joined the Club Brugge academy in 2015. After developed himself through the different categories and teams of the club, it was in 2022 when he made his professional debut with the first team in a match against Standard Liege, where he also scored a goal.
Internationally, Talbi has represented Belgium on several occasions, at the UEFA European Under-17 Championship in 2022, and also with the U-18 team. However, in March of this year, Talbi decided to represent Morocco definitively.
In terms of his qualities as a footballer, Talbi is characterised as a quick, skilful and flamboyant winger. This season, we have seen him playing more frequently on the right flank, but he is a winger who is perfectly adaptable to both flanks.
Technically he is a remarkable player. He stands out for his powerful driving with short touches, and for his great passing accuracy, especially from close range.
Tactically, however, the Moroccan winger is still somewhat untidy. However, that characteristic is at the same time part of his nature, and he is sometimes able to turn it into a virtue. He is a very mobile player in the third half of the pitch, being an extremely umbalancing player when he finds the space between the lines or on the wing.
Physically, we highlight his powerful lower body, which makes him quick and light in the first metres, strong in individual duels and very efficient when it comes to breaking lines in driving or dribbling.
Mentally, ultimately, he is a player yet to develop. He must gain maturity in the more complicated phases of the matches, handle mistakes better and work on his leadership and personality, aspects that he will undoubtedly improve with the time and with many minutes on the pitch.
