Qatar 2022 World Cup has ended with Argentina winning the competition, having a varied squad mixing top footballers with young emerging talents, who have shown great personality and maturity to perform at the highest level. One of those names, among others, is Alexis Mac Allister.
Born on the 24/12/1998 (24 years old) in Santa Rosa, Mac Allister plays as midfielder for Premier League´s club Brighton & Hove Albion. Alexis started playing for Argentinos Juniors, where Brighton detected his talent in 2019. Despite that, he remained playing on loan for Argentinos and Boca Juniors until he seemed to be ready to compete at the highest level in Europe. Brighton´s bet succeeded amazingly well, as he has become an indispensable piece for the squad since his arrival to Europe.
Mac Allister started playing for Argentinos as an attacking midfielder, being the playmaker of the team, but has adapted to play in almost every position in the midfield, performing at Brighton mainly as central midfielder, contributing in both areas.
